Ferrous Sulfate cap.
Indications:
Ferrous sulfate contains iron that is needed by the body to produce red blood cells. It is used to treat iron deficiency anemia which is manifested by symptoms such as bleeding, weakness and other medical problems. It can also be used to relieve fever. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
How to take:
Ferrous sulfate is taken as directed by the physician. It comes in a capsule form taken by mouth usually taken in between meals three times a day. This medication should be taken on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. Swallow tablet as a whole with plenty of water. If a dose is missed, take one a soon as possible. Precautions:
Before taking Ibuprofen, doctor should be informed of any allergies to ferrous sulfate and other drugs. The doctor should also know about prescription and non-prescription medication, vitamins, herbal products and nutritional supplements that the patient is taking. Do not take antacids and ferrous sulfate at the same time; take them as far apart as possible. It is also important to mention about medical conditions such as intestinal disease, ulcers, colitis and other diseases. Do not use this drug during pregnancy unless prescribed by the doctor.
