Indications:

Chloramaphenicol is used to treat serious infections in the different parts of the body. This antibiotic is not given to viral infections such as colds and flu. It is sometimes combined with other antibiotics. This drug should only be used for serious infection when other medicines fail to work. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor

How to take:

Chloramphenicol is taken as directed by the physician. It comes in a capsule form and is taken by mouth with or without food. It is best to take the capsule at regular intervals and finish the prescribed course of the drug. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Swallow capsule as a whole, do not break, chew or crush.
