Loratadine
Indications:
Loratadine relieves various allergic conditions such as seasonal allergic rhinitis. It is also used to treat patients with allergic skin rashes. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by the physician.
How to take:
Loratadine is taken as directed by the doctor. Check medicine label for dosing and further instructions. This drug is taken by mouth with or without food. Precautions:
If Loratadine is taken in many doses it may cause drowsiness therefore do not take more than the doctor′s recommended dose. For children less than 6 years old. Loratadine has not been proven safe and effective so check with the physician before giving the drug. Studies also show that Loratadine is found in breast milk. Refer to the physician for pregnant and lactating women before drug use.
