Cefaclor
Indications:
Cefaclor is used to prevent the growth of susceptible bacterias the cause′s infection such as tonsillitis, laryngitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, and throat infections. It is also effective against skin and urinary tract infections. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor
How to take:
Cefaclor is taken as directed by the physician. This drug is taken by mouth usually every 8 hours with or without food or as directed by the doctor. If stomach upset occurs, take Cefaclor with food. It is best to take the capsule at regular intervals and finish the prescribed course of the drug. For more detailed information please see label and please consult specialist. Do not take more Cefaclor than is indicated at the label without consulting a doctor. Continue to take this antibiotic even if you feel well, do not stop taking without talking to the doctor. Stopping this medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow, which may result in a relapse of the infection.
Precautions:
Inform doctor of allergies to Cefaclor, penicillins or cephalosporin, or any other allergies. Before using Cefaclor inform the doctor of medical condition if any especially of severe type such as kidney and intestinal diseases. This drug is known to be excreted in breastmilk therefore use only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult doctor before breastfeeding.
