Hyoscine acts on the autonomic nervous system and prevents muscle spasm. It is an alkaloid. C17H21NO2, obtained from various plants of the nightshade family such as belladonna.

Indication:

Relief of colicky abdominal pain cause by painful spasms in the muscles of the stomach or bladder regions including irritable bowel syndrome. Sometimes used to reduce secretions in the lung, postoperative sedative. It is also used to treat ulcers, to relax the womb in labour, for travel sickness, and to dilate the pupils before an eye examination

How to take: :

Adult and children more than 6 years of age, 1-2 tablets 3-5 times a day. Please see label. For more detailed information please consult specialist. Do not take more of Hyoscine butylbromide than it is indicated at the label without consulting your doctor.

Precautions: :

Do not violate instructions. Side effects: constipation, slow or fast heart rate, problem passing urine, problems with eyesight- sensitivity to light, difficulty focusing, dry mouth, dry skin.
