Dicycloverine
Indications:
Dicycloveine can be used for treating functional GIT conditions involving smooth muscle spasms such as irritable colon (mucus colitis, spastic colon, irritable bowel syndrome) and spastic constipation. Adjunctive therapy in organic GIT conditions to relieve associated smooth muscle spasm in colitis, diverticulitis, regional enteritis, gastritis, and peptic ulcer.
How to take:
Adult: 10 to 40 mg 3 to 4 times daily. Maximum of 160mg daily. Please see label. For more detailed information please consult specialist. Do not take more of Dicycloveine than it is indicated at the label without consulting your doctor.
Precautions:
Do not violate instructions. Can cause dry mouth, thirst, dizziness. Rarely, fatigue, sedation, blurred vision, rash, anorexia. GI disturbance, headache, psychotic symptoms, dysuria, constipation and headache.
