Ambroxol is a metabolite of bromhexine and is used similarly as a mucolytic by diluting sticky secretion of cough and other related respiratory illness making phlegm easier to be taken out through expectoration.

Indication:

Acute & chronic disease of respiratory tract with thickened mucous cause by bronchitis and asthma, post-op-treatment and in intensive care to avoid pulmonary complication.

How to take:

Adults & children over 10 yrs.: 1 tab, 3 times daily. Children 5 - 10 yrs.: ?tab, 3 times daily. Long-term treatment : reduce dose to twice daily. Please see label.
